Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
Frequent use of technology; able to use and navigate various technological devices
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Responsibilities

Drive sales and profit through servicing and selling to the customer.
Greet and acknowledge customers, provide outstanding service, guide and suggest.
Ensure an outstanding shopping environment through the store.
Perform new receipt merchandising, selling floor recovery and maintenance.
Execute sales enhancement initiatives that drive the customer experience and store operating efficiency.
Handle pricing, merchandise handling, and stockroom maintenance.
Perform various points of sale register transactions including sales, returns, Bloomingdale’s credit cards, payments, and cash handling.
Deliver company standard in loyalty enrollments and open new credit accounts.
Acknowledge every customer, driving an outstanding experience.
Merchandise new receipts and recover, fill in, and maintain the selling floor to prescribed standards.
Backstock new receipt surplus.
Maintain fitting rooms to impeccable standards.
Ensure merchandise is customer-ready, addressing missing tickets and security tags.
Support logistics work as needed during high workload moments, executing markdowns and pulling outbound merchandise.
Protect company assets, adhering to all operational procedures including access control, merchandise protection, safety, and security standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
