About The Position
The Outlet Retail Associate provides excellent customer service by customer engagement, suggestion selling and cashiering in a friendly and professional manner. The Outlet Retail Associate is responsible for proactively acknowledging, greeting, and assisting customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner. This role involves performing accurate Point of Sale (POS) and cash handling procedures, closing out cash drawers, and balancing the till. Additionally, the associate will be responsible for merchandising, restocking, general floor maintenance, assisting with product tipping to bin tables, participating in floor change outs, and maintaining a clean work environment. The position also requires supporting team members, assisting supervisors, building and maintaining customer satisfaction, contributing to team efforts, and demonstrating safe work practices.
Requirements
- Ability to read, speak and write Basic English and perform basic math skills
- Ability to work with a diverse team
- Able to communicate through standard telephone and wireless audio systems.
- Maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities
- Proactively acknowledge, greet and help customers in any area of the store.
- Assist customers/donors in a timely and courteous manner by answering questions or directing them to a supervisor.
- Perform accurate Point of Sale (POS) and cash handling, checks, and credit card procedures.
- Responsible for closing out assigned cash drawer and balancing the till at end of shift.
- Merchandise, restock and provide general floor maintenance where needed.
- Assist in tipping of product to bin tables and participate in floor change outs of bin tables.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Support team members, assist supervisors as necessary.
- Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Demonstrates safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
- Other duties as assigned.
