About The Position

Join our Food & Beverage TEAM in this pivotal role, where you'll deliver outstanding Guest Services and ensure the seamless operation of the Food & Beverage department. As an Outlets Restaurant Manager, you will coordinate and inspire our Food & Beverage staff to deliver exceptional products and outstanding service to our customers. Additionally, you will provide leadership and inspire our Food & Beverage TEAM to pursue excellence and encourage repeat business.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in restaurant, bar, kitchen, sales, catering and management required.
  • One to three years of experience as a manager or assistant manager of restaurant operations preferred.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to move up to 600 lbs. with wheeled assistance.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and to lift lighter objects overhead.
  • Hearing, smelling, tasting and visual ability to observe and distinguish product quality and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Operate MS programs in computer.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Manager in the direction and supervision of servers, bus-persons, and other staff in reference to schedules, service standards, training, motivation, and safety.
  • Assist in ensuring that food & beverage outlets comply with sanitation and safety standards for guests and employees.
  • Check that all equipment is in working order.
  • Visually inspect and take action to ensure that facilities in the outlets area look appealing and attractive to guests.
  • Follow up on work orders so repairs and maintenance of facility are completed on a timely basis.
  • Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specification.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet.
  • Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply so that outlets are stocked with linen, glassware, silverware, and condiments, in order to provide service.
  • Participate in marketing efforts of food and beverage outlets, create menu ideas, survey competition and report food trends and assist in preparations of specials.
  • Interact with customers to determine needs, satisfaction and resolve conflicts.
  • Participate in Manager on Duty coverage program requiring weekend stay-over, constant monitoring throughout hotel and troubleshooting problems.
  • Operate MS programs in computer.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment by calling for repairs and training staff on proper use.
  • Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
  • Support the entire Food and Beverage operation including supervising other areas if necessary, handling special projects, running promotions, handling public relations and marketing.
