About The Position

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a n Outlet Associate to support daily operations in a fast ‑ paced outlet environment. This role is essential in delivering friendly, accurate , and safe customer service while assisting with merchandise flow , donation intake , and general facility upkeep . The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to providing a positive customer experience while supporting Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to use good judgment and exercise patience and understanding.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, pull, and move merchandise.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing a minimum of 40 pounds .
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled work hours.
  • Comfortable with occasionally working in environments where temperatures and climate may fluctuate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, accurate, and safe customer service at all times.
  • Price , stock , and merchandise carts or containers brought to the sales floor.
  • Receive donations and greet customers as they enter the outlet.
  • Monitor the entrance area to support safety and customer flow.
  • Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the sales floor and work areas.
  • Build or assist with fixtures and equipment as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors.
