About The Position
This role involves providing comprehensive care to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, providing transportation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and light personal care. This includes tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, accompanying clients to appointments, and personal hygiene assistance like toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming. The role also emphasizes providing companionship and engaging clients in conversation to stimulate and encourage them.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time.
