About The Position

This role is within Textron Systems' Marine & Land Systems business area. The Outfitter is responsible for the structural fitting and mechanical outfitting of craft, including aligning and installing various equipment. This position requires working from engineering drawings, sketches, written and verbal instructions, and maintaining required records, forms, and logs. The company is offering a $1500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Requirements

1-3 years of previous experience.
Ability to read blueprints, shop orders, sketches, and drawings.
Ability to perform shop mathematics.
Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
General understanding of metric measuring system.
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Must have the ability to move extremities and spine throughout a sufficient range of motion for various postures.
Must have good dexterity and frequently use one and two hands for handling tools and materials.
Must have sufficient cardiorespiratory fitness to perform heavy work and tolerate heavy demands on the cardiorespiratory system in various temperature ranges and humidity.
Must be able to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling not to exceed 60 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Naval craft experience is a plus.
