About The Position

The Outfitter installs plumbing, tile, inlays, lighting, drains, and other special-order components on fiberglass swimming pools prior to shipment. This position uses a variety of hand and power tools to ensure pools are outfitted accurately, safely, and in accordance with production orders and quality standards.

Requirements

Experience using various hand and power tools
Ability to read diagrams, work instructions, and production orders
Ability to understand written and verbal directions
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform frequent bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, and overhead work
Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Flexibility to work overtime, including some weekends, as needed and fluctuations in start and ending times for shifts
Commitment to working safely and wearing required PPE

Nice To Haves

Experience in tiling, plumbing, or pool manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

Read and interpret production orders, diagrams, and outfitting guides
Install plumbing, drains, lights, fittings, tile, inlays, and optional components on pools and spas
Measure, cut, drill, trim, and grind pool flanges and surfaces as required
Perform patching, cosmetic repairs, and surface finishing
Conduct quality assurance inspections and identify defects or order deviations
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment safely and correctly
Document work performed and complete required control plans
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and PPE requirements
Support training and provide guidance to other Outfitters as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
