About The Position

Eckerd Connects’ Camp E-Nini-Hassee is hiring Outdoor Youth Counselors for its residential facility in Floral City, Florida. Counselors live on-site and provide guidance, supervision, therapeutic support, and outdoor experiences to girls ages 12 to 17 who face challenges such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, family conflict, neglect, and poor academic performance. The program offers a structured, strength-based residential environment with group therapy, family services, and accredited on-site education. Counselors reside on-site five days per week in open-air cabins adjacent to youth campsites. Fully furnished on-site housing is also provided at no cost for counselors’ two days off each week; counselors may instead choose self-funded off-site housing. The role requires a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends, and involves 24-hour supervision over five days per week. Counselors sleep during the 24-hour day, and Night Watch employees assist with overnight supervision. The position offers opportunities for leadership development, professional growth, and advancement. Relocation assistance is provided, and relocation on-site is required.
