Outdoor Pet Care Specialist (Midday Dog Walker)
About The Position
Passionately Pets is a growing in-home pet care provider in Northern Virginia seeking dependable, animal-loving individuals to join their midday team. This role is ideal for someone who prefers being outdoors and active over desk work, and enjoys working with animals. The position involves visiting client homes to care for pets during the day, primarily focusing on dog walking, and ensuring the pets' needs for food, water, and companionship are met. The role also requires monitoring pet behavior and home conditions, cleaning up after pets, and maintaining communication with the team.
Requirements
- Live within ~3 miles of 22301 (preferred)
- Availability between 10am–3pm on weekdays
- Reliable transportation + smartphone with data
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Comfort working independently
- Ability to handle all weather conditions
- Commitment of at least 6 months
- Must pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Visit client homes to care for pets during the day
- Walk dogs for 15–60 minute visits
- Provide food, fresh water, and companionship
- Monitor pet behavior and home conditions
- Clean up pet-related messes if needed
- Stay in communication with our Team throughout your shift
