About The Position

ArtisTree Landscape & Design, a member of the Sunrise Landscape family, is a leading commercial landscape maintenance, design, and installation company in Florida. They are experiencing growth and seeking a motivated Lighting Installer Tech to join their Installation team in Venice, FL. This role focuses on installing and maintaining low-voltage outdoor lighting systems for residential properties. Additionally, the position will provide support to the Irrigation team during peak periods or as needed. The responsibilities include installing low-voltage outdoor lighting systems, digging trenches, mounting transformers, programming timers, and troubleshooting existing systems. The role also involves assisting with irrigation system installation and repair, including trenching, pipe fitting, and replacing sprinkler heads. Driving company vehicles safely to job sites, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained are also key duties.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in low-voltage lighting installation or a related field (landscaping/construction).
Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical concepts (volts, watts, polarity).
Must be able to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks such as digging, kneeling, and walking.
Willingness to assist the irrigation department and work occasional evenings to adjust lighting aim and timers.
Ability to interact professionally with residential clients and team members.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Install low-voltage outdoor lighting systems, including fixtures, transformers, and wiring, specifically for residential properties.
Dig small trenches for wire burial and ensure all wiring is safely and discretely tucked away.
Mount transformers and connect them to power sources; program timers and smart-lighting controllers.
Troubleshoot existing systems to identify and repair wire breaks, faulty bulbs, or fixture issues.
Assist the Irrigation Team with the installation and repair of residential watering systems.
Help with trenching, pipe fitting, and the replacement of sprinkler heads and valves.
Support Irrigation Managers in testing zones and ensuring proper coverage for landscape health.
Operate company vehicles safely to and from various residential job sites.
Maintain an organized inventory of lighting and irrigation components on the truck.
Ensure all equipment and tools are cleaned and maintained daily.
