About The Position

This position is a 0.75 FTE, working 190 days located at the Outdoor Lab. Grade A-11.

Requirements

• Experience working with elementary and secondary students.
• Ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and children.
• Performs related work as required, or assigned.
• Assistants must meet the requirements of the NCLB and Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) at the time of hire.
• A high school diploma, and An Associate Degree or two years of college study.
• At least 60 semester hours, 12 which must be in English or mathematics, depending on job responsibilities, or A score of at least 455 on the Parapro Test

Responsibilities

• Must be reliable, dependable, flexible and cooperative.
• Ability to monitor several large areas.
• Must be able to interact with students and adults.
