About The Position

The OE Supervisor's primary role is to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the program including leading and supporting activities, staff, and guests. This role involves coordination of program schedules and staff, observation, evaluation, training, and support of staff, and communication with guests and other departments. The position also includes safety and emergency response responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree
• Adaptability and Godly Christian character
• Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR & First Aid certification which includes an in-person training element
• Minimum of one year of experience effectively leading teams or programs
• Full agreement with TM Camping’s statement of faith, mission, vision, and values
• Compliance with the employee handbook
• Valid California driver’s license
• Abilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the job which includes a significant amount of standing, walking, and hiking, sometimes strenuous, over uneven terrain and in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Coordination of program schedules and staff while guests are present
• Observation, evaluation, training, and support of staff in their own roles and interactions with each other and guests
• Communicate with onsite guests, onsite departments, and off sites
• Safety and emergency response
• Attend and support TP and OE leadership and staff meetings
• Assist with creating weekly program schedules and cabin lists
• Management of program materials and inventory
• Maintain a flexible schedule as needed, including night shifts and on-call overnight assignments
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
