About The Position

Are you ready to build something from the ground up? Piping Rock Health Products is looking for a proactive, strategic, and entrepreneurial Outbound Sales Director to lead and scale our outbound sales function. This is a rare opportunity to own the full outbound process—from building foundational systems to hiring and leading a high-performing team. If you have deep experience in supplements, natural CPG, or selling into health food retail, we want to hear from you. This high-ownership role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, understands the natural product space, and is ready to drive growth through smart, scalable outbound sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in outbound sales, with a proven track record of building and leading successful outbound programs.
  • Proven ability to independently structure, test, and scale outbound campaigns.
  • Experience hiring and leading sales teams—especially SDRs—in a high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of CRM tools and outbound sales platforms.
  • Results-driven mindset with a bias for action and ownership.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in supplements, natural CPG, or experience selling into health food retail is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build, implement, and continuously improve outbound sales strategies and systems from scratch.
  • Identify target accounts and design tailored outreach cadences to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) to support your vision.
  • Own the full outbound sales funnel—from prospecting to close—ensuring performance metrics are met.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to align outbound efforts with broader company goals.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting structures to track progress, iterate, and optimize performance.
  • Establish strong relationships with natural retailers, distributors, and partners in the health food channel.
  • Stay on top of category and competitor trends to refine strategy and seize emerging opportunities.
