About The Position

Aruza Pest Control is seeking a motivated, competitive, and results-driven Outbound Sales & Appointment Setter to join their Inside Sales team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, is comfortable picking up the phone, thrives in a performance-driven environment, and is motivated by achieving goals and earning additional income through commission and incentives. The Outbound Sales & Appointment Setter will proactively contact prospective, current, and previous customers to generate new sales opportunities, schedule qualified appointments, identify additional service opportunities, and contribute directly to the growth of Aruza's customer base. The primary objective is to generate incremental revenue and qualified sales opportunities through proactive outbound calling and customer outreach, working with company-provided prospect lists, targeted geographic and ZIP-code campaigns, existing customer opportunities, previous customer win-back campaigns, and other assigned lead sources. The role involves identifying customer needs, communicating the value of Aruza's services, overcoming objections, scheduling qualified appointments, closing sales when appropriate, and maintaining consistent follow-up.

  • 1+ years of sales, appointment-setting, telemarketing, call center, or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Previous outbound calling or inside sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Experience using CRM software preferred.
  • Experience using soft-phone, dialer, or call-center technology preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new technology.
  • Experience in pest control, home services, telecommunications, insurance, automotive, security, or other high-volume consumer sales environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Make a high volume of proactive outbound calls to prospective, current, and previous Aruza customers.
  • Work assigned prospect lists, including targeted homeowner and geographic/ZIP-code campaigns.
  • Contact existing customers to identify opportunities for additional pest control and home services.
  • Conduct customer win-back campaigns targeting former customers and previously unsold opportunities.
  • Generate qualified appointments and sales opportunities for Aruza's sales and service teams.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Aruza pest control and home service solutions.
  • Educate prospects and customers on Aruza's services, benefits, pricing, promotions, and available service options.
  • Build rapport quickly and maintain a professional, energetic, and consultative sales approach.
  • Utilize effective questioning, active listening, and objection-handling techniques to advance opportunities.
  • Close sales directly when appropriate and schedule qualified appointments when field follow-up or additional consultation is needed.
  • Maintain ownership of assigned leads and opportunities through consistent follow-up until the opportunity is sold or exhausted.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and complete required follow-up activities.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, call outcomes, appointments, sales opportunities, objections, and follow-up activities within the CRM.
  • Maintain accurate lead-source and campaign information to support performance tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Inside Sales, Field Sales, Customer Success, Service, and Operations teams to ensure effective customer handoffs.
  • Participate in targeted outbound campaigns supporting specific branches, markets, ZIP codes, services, and seasonal opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established daily, weekly, and monthly outbound activity expectations.
  • Meet or exceed established appointment-setting and sales revenue goals.
  • Maintain established performance standards for contact rates, appointment conversion, close rates, sales production, and customer experience.
  • Participate in call coaching, role-playing, sales meetings, product training, and professional development activities.
  • Demonstrate persistence, professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
