About The Position

Inspect raw materials and/or parts, audit production practices and processes, and report on non-conformances. The role includes visual inspection and inspection using measurement instruments, segregation of non-conforming materials, documentation and data entry, and final inspection to reconcile outgoing shipments as required. The position is designated safety sensitive. Applicants considered for employment must successfully complete pre-employment drug testing, which may include marijuana testing in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems.
Ability to learn the correct use of basic measurement instruments, such as tape measures, scales, and gauges.
Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to accurately inspect basic material, commodities, and/or processes.
Safety-oriented approach to work.

Nice To Haves

Some college courses or certificates in a Quality Assurance-related field of study.
Prior experience using basic measurement instruments.
Prior experience in a quality assurance inspection position.

Responsibilities

Enter work results into appropriate databases.
Perform final inspections to reconcile outgoing shipments, as required.
Identify causes of non-conformance when required.
