About The Position

The Outbound Logistics Coordinator is responsible for optimizing logistics services both domestically and globally, ensuring timely deliveries, eliminating out of stocks, and minimizing freight and storage costs. This role collaborates with all domestic and international customers, facilities, and partners to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of finished goods, while balancing costs and service levels. The Outbound Logistics Coordinator will also ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and/or transportation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), experience with ERP preferred.
  • Excellent written or oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in teams and across functional groups.
  • Ability to listen and understand information.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold a culture of customer service excellence within the company’s operations, focusing on Paradise Values.
  • Deliver world-class service to internal and external customers, both domestically and globally.
  • Drive the growth and adoption of KPIs across the company to measure and manage business performance.
  • Ensure all Customer Service transportation related KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Communicate with carriers and customers regarding shipment updates and assist with customer inquiries about estimated delivery times.
  • Support the development and implementation of logistics policies and procedures across all company facilities.
  • Track and ensure compliance with these policies and procedures once approved.
  • Administer and submit freight claims to carriers and process customer credits for freight-related damages.
  • Review and validation of carrier invoices for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage and oversee the company’s Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Provide internal/external TMS assistance and training.
  • Process orders and prepare paperwork for international shipments, including commercial invoices, origin certificates, and free sale certificates.
  • Implement and support programs to generate cost savings and improve administrative efficiency.
  • Execute global and domestic transportation bids and Request for Pricing (RFP’s).
  • Convert customers from collect to prepaid freight.
  • Expand carrier network and optimize current processes to reduce excess spending and provide competitive pricing.
  • Submit and calculate nationally delivered freight based on customer volumes.
  • Monitor freight market trends and adjust contact pricing by quarterly freight analysis.
  • Manage Carrier Scorecards and conduct quarterly reviews.
  • Provide monthly profit/loss reports on outbound freight, reflecting margin, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Help build a talented, capable, and engaged organization that consistently delivers high-quality signature sauces to customers worldwide.
  • Other duties as assigned.
