About The Position

RefrigiWear is seeking an experienced warehouse professional to serve as an Outbound Lead I. This hands-on working lead will guide associates during an active shift within picking, packing, or Command Central. The role involves monitoring productivity and accuracy, addressing floor-level exceptions, and acting as the primary point of contact for associates in the assigned function. This position is a key step in RefrigiWear's Dahlonega warehouse leadership pipeline. RefrigiWear has been providing insulated workwear, footwear, gloves, and protective gear for over 70 years to individuals working in cold storage, construction, outdoor industries, and extreme weather conditions. The Distribution team is crucial in ensuring customers receive their products accurately and on time.

• Ability to resolve real-time issues
• Ability to help the team achieve safe, accurate, and productive shifts
• Ability to monitor productivity and accuracy
• Ability to address floor-level exceptions
• Ability to serve as the primary point of contact for associates in the assigned function

Responsibilities

• Direct outbound associates across picking, packing, and Command Central throughout the shift.
• Monitor and resolve operational exceptions, including short picks, packing discrepancies, and supply shortages.
• Help maintain shift productivity, order accuracy, and adherence to outbound standard operating procedures.
• Identify and promptly escalate safety hazards, equipment concerns, and performance gaps to the Lead II or Outbound Supervisor.
• Communicate urgent shift updates and associate concerns to leadership in real time.
• Lead or participate in pre-shift huddles covering daily priorities, safety reminders, and performance targets.
• Support end-of-shift closeout, including area cleanup, equipment staging, and dock or yard clearance as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
