About The Position

This role involves driving a semi-truck to and from ports, adhering to all safety protocols and port-specific procedures. The driver will be responsible for delivering loads, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all documentation, including DOT and safety records, is completed accurately and on time. The position also requires maximizing fuel efficiency and occasionally operating on an inbound schedule. A slip seat arrangement is utilized.

Requirements

• 2 years’ driving experience
• Hold CDL License & TWIC Card with clean driving record
• Hold Doubles Endorsement
• Previous hazardous driving experience
• Previous port experience

Responsibilities

• Drive semi to and from ports following all safety protocols
• Deliver load following port protocol
• Maintain equipment and service as needed
• Complete DOT and safety records in accordance with regulations and company policy
• Follow all DOT and safety regulations at all times
• Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain truck and take appropriate measures to insure maximum fuel efficiency
• Pick up clean, undamaged, empty containers
• Occasionally operate on the Inbound schedule as needed
