About The Position
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Outbound Customer Service Representative to create new service opportunities and help homeowners protect and maintain their HVAC and plumbing systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent verbal communication and professional telephone etiquette.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Basic computer skills, including email, and data entry.
- Ability to explain services clearly and overcome customer objections.
- Dependable, organized, and able to follow a consistent calling process.
Nice To Haves
- 6 months – 1 year customer service, call-center, appointment-setting, membership-sales, or inside-sales experience is preferred.
- HVAC or plumbing experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to current, previous, and prospective Dr. Cool customers.
- Educate homeowners about Dr. Cool service agreements and membership benefits.
- Identify customer needs and create qualified service and sales opportunities.
- Schedule HVAC and plumbing maintenance or service appointments.
- Follow up on unsold estimates, previous service recommendations, and expired memberships.
- Maintain accurate customer records, call notes, and follow-up activities.
- Work closely with dispatchers, technicians, comfort advisors, and management.
