About The Position
Forest View Hospital is seeking a qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team in an Out-Patient setting. This is a full-time, W2 position with a Monday-Friday work schedule, offering a caseload that includes Child/Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients. The role focuses on Out-Patient Medication Management and psychiatric evaluations, with no on-call duties required for this out-patient position.
Requirements
- B/C - ANCC
- Licensed as APRN in the State of Michigan, or ability to obtain
Responsibilities
- Out-Patient Medication Management
- Psychiatric evaluations
- Provide outpatient medication management to the community.
- Work closely with Forest View Hospital’s Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs to provide short-term medication management for discharged patients.
- Treat conditions including, but not limited to: Depression, Bi-polar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders.
