About The Position
This position is for an OTR (Over-the-Road) West Texas Driver. The driver will operate Freightliner trucks, 3 years or newer, with auto transmissions and 53' trailers. The freight is mostly refrigerated and no-touch. The typical schedule involves being out for 2-3 weeks and then having 2-3 days off. Compensation includes CPM, a Safe & On-Time Bonus, and opportunities for higher weekly and annual pay based on performance.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months CDL-A driving experience
- Must reside within the required distance of the assigned terminal location
Responsibilities
- Operate Freightliner trucks (3 yrs or newer) with auto transmissions and 53' trailers.
- Transport mostly refrigerated, no-touch freight.
- Adhere to a schedule of 2-3 weeks out and 2-3 days off.
- Drive within the Amarillo, TX area (175 miles).
