About The Position

Boulevard Tire Center is looking for an experienced OTR Tire Technician for our Garden City, GA location. The position requires a minimum of 1 year experience as an OTR Technician with the knowledge skills and abilities in general tire maintenance including tire change and/or repair for commercial truck service. Will provide after-hours/on-call service to customers that may include fleet service. Must be available nights and weekends for rotating on call or fleet service.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience as an OTR Technician.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities in general tire maintenance.
Experience with tire sizes up to 00R49.
Strong safety record and commitment to safety.
Current driver's license that complies with insurance and safety policies.
Mature, responsible, reliable, and able to communicate well (written and verbal).
Ability to operate and maintain a boom truck and associated equipment.
Ability to obtain and maintain MSHA training and safety certifications.
Ability to obtain and maintain required security badges (TWIC).
CDL CLASS B required.

Responsibilities

Perform general tire maintenance including tire change and/or repair for commercial truck service.
Provide after-hours/on-call service to customers, potentially including fleet service.
Remove, install, and repair Off the Road, farm, and industrial tires.
Operate and maintain a boom truck and associated equipment (jacks, bead breakers, pullers, slings, air tools, etc.).
Obtain and maintain all applicable training and safety certifications (MSHA) and required security badges (TWIC).
