About The Position

The OTR Technician position requires previous tire experience, specifically with changing all types of tires and solid industrial presses. This role involves operating a boom truck with or without a tire hand and has dual responsibilities, allowing for work on both an OTR boom truck and a fleet truck. The technician must be able to maintain regular attendance, pass pre-employment screenings (drug screen, background check, MVR with a maximum of six points), and operate various service trucks including a fleet service truck, small mini boom, and an OTR boom truck. Responsibilities include removing and replacing tires and wheels off-site, servicing all tire sizes and types (including large OTR and press-on solids), and performing written fleet service reporting and corrections. The role also requires the ability to raise on-road and off-road vehicles using air hydraulic jacks. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and after-hours calls is necessary.

Requirements

Previous tire experience (5 or more years).
Class B CDL.
TIA Trained passenger and light truck, medium commercial, industrial, and OTR.
Ability to maintain regular attendance.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must be able to pass an MVR. Maximum of six points allowed.
Must be able to operate a fleet service truck, small mini boom, and an OTR boom truck with or without hands.
Must be able to remove and replace tires and wheels from vehicles off-site.
Must be able to service all sizes and types of tires including large OTR and press on solids.
Must be capable of written fleet service reporting and corrections.

Responsibilities
