About The Position
Experienced OTR Tire Technicians are needed to join a company that values its employees. This role involves working offsite in a company-provided service truck to meet customer needs for all OTR tire and wheel services. This includes replacing, inspecting, repairing, and properly mounting/dismounting OTR tires and wheels for construction, earthmoving, mining, and agriculture industries.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years OTR experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Minimum Age: 21 years.
- Valid Class C Driver's License, insurable to meet company standards.
- Current DOT Medical Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial and OTR TIA Certification (required within 6 months of hire).
- MSHA Certification (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Service customers with all OTR tire and wheel related needs, including replacing, inspecting, repairing, and properly mounting/dismounting all OTR tire and wheel related products.
- Safely service customer equipment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate hydraulic jacks, power hoists, and lug wrenches to service OTR tires.
- Mount and dismount various OTR tires according to industry best practices.
- Travel up to 75% within the region to meet customer and company needs.
- Adhere to TIA standards, policies, and safety practices.
