OTR CDL A Driver - All Trailers
About The Position
This position is for an Over-The-Road (OTR) Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A driver who can handle all types of trailers. The role offers a limited-time promotion with a starting pay of 90 cents per mile to $1 per mile during the first week. Regular pay rates vary by trailer type: Dry Van drivers earn 70-75 CPM, Reefer drivers earn 80-85 CPM, and Flatbed drivers earn 80-85 CPM. Drivers can expect to drive over 3,000 paid miles per week, with all miles being compensated. The routes cover all 48 states, with a primary focus on the Midwest, South, and Southeast regions. Additional compensation is provided for detention, layover, and extra stops. Drivers will receive weekly direct deposit and have access to 24/7 dispatch support. The company utilizes modern trucks from 2022–2027, including models from Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and International. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, based out of Illinois.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Ability to handle all trailer types.
- Willingness to run all 48 states.
- Ability to drive 3,000+ miles per week.
- Must be able to receive weekly direct deposit.
- Must have 24/7 dispatch support availability.
- Must be comfortable with a 1099 position.
- Must be based out of IL.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Transport goods across all 48 states, with a focus on the Midwest, South, and Southeast.
- Handle various trailer types including Dry Van, Reefer, and Flatbed.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs and records.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams.
