About The Position

The Otolaryngology Physician provides comprehensive ear, nose, and throat diagnosis and treatment, including definitive care for complex cases. The role is intended to restore patient function and improve airway safety while building a trusted, recommendable practice. The physician develops a full patient panel, delivers office and operative care, coordinates with referring clinicians and multidisciplinary teams, and contributes to quality and safety improvements. The physician joins a physician-led ENT service with dedicated operating-room block time, modern endoscopy and microscopy, on-site audiology and speech pathology, and inpatient consultation support. Clinic and surgical scheduling, coding, and prior authorization are staffed. The physician reports to the medical director for clinical standards and partners with practice administration on access, block utilization, and growth. Instrument and implant capital is planned annually based on volume and outcomes. The role offers surgical volume and OR access, integrated audiology, speech, and allergy support, and physician authority over clinical standards. Compensation is tied to productivity and quality, with a path to partnership or leadership for physicians who grow the service. Call is shared among colleagues, who support one another with difficult airways and after-hours consultations.
