About The Position

Chesapeake Specialty Care (Chesapeake ENT), a physician-driven ENT practice in the Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area, is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its growing clinical team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP interested in otolaryngology or a motivated provider looking to build a long-term career in a specialty-focused practice. The NP will work alongside experienced otolaryngologists in a collaborative clinical environment, developing expertise across a broad range of adult and pediatric ENT conditions. The practice provides comprehensive care in general ENT, sinus and allergy, otology, voice and swallowing disorders, pediatric ENT, and in-office procedures. It boasts a strong clinical infrastructure with an in-house audiology department, allergy program, hearing aid services, and affiliation with a vestibular testing center, along with access to hospitals and surgery centers. The position involves working primarily between Owings Mills and Columbia locations, with potential coverage at Westminster and Rosedale offices as needed, offering variety and collaboration across multiple locations.

Requirements

Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current national board certification as an NP
Eligible for or currently licensed as an NP in the State of Maryland
Current DEA registration or eligibility, as applicable
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Interest in developing or continuing a career in otolaryngology
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative physician-led environment
Ability and willingness to work across multiple practice locations as needed

Responsibilities

Evaluating and managing patients with common ENT conditions
Obtaining comprehensive histories and performing focused ENT examinations
Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with supervising/collaborating physicians, as applicable
Managing follow-up visits and ongoing patient care
Assisting with pre- and post-operative patient management
Performing appropriate in-office procedures within the provider's training, experience, and scope of practice
Reviewing diagnostic testing and coordinating appropriate follow-up
Providing patient education and counseling
Coordinating care with audiology, allergy, vestibular therapy, and other clinical services
Providing clinical coverage at Owings Mills and Columbia locations, with support at other Maryland offices as needed
