Otolaryngologist (ENT)
About The Position
A locum tenens Otolaryngologist will provide inpatient and clinical ENT services in Turlock, California. The assignment includes clinical care and call coverage, with adult patients and a case mix of general otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. Rounding is included. The listed shift schedule is Friday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; call is Friday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., by beeper, with a 15–20 minute response time. Coverage is supplemental. The coverage period is December 1, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with coverage dates listed as March 26–April 4 and May 28–June 6. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency. The facility has 209 beds and uses Athena and Cerner EMR systems. Hospital privileges are not required, and temporary privileges are available. The credentialing timeline is 120–180 days.
Requirements
- Board certification (BC).
- California license.
- BLS certification.
- At least 50 case logs within the past 24 months.

Responsibilities
- Provide otolaryngology services in clinic and hospital settings.
- Perform surgical and non-surgical ENT procedures.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient care.
- Participate in on-call coverage for assigned and unassigned patients.
- Document patient encounters using Athena and Cerner EMR.
- Provide rounding.
