About The Position

Jupiter Power is seeking a Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of secure, high-availability networks for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In this role, you will own the architect, document, and implement of operational technology (OT) at datacenters and site networks that enable reliable, grid-compliant operation of large-scale energy storage assets. As a technical contributor, you will define network standards, lead commissioning activities, troubleshoot complex field issues, and provide technical guidance across engineering and operations teams. This role combines hands-on field involvement with system design, cybersecurity alignment, and cross-functional leadership in high-voltage utility environments. This position will have a field engineering aspect requiring travel to sites for startup and commissioning. As the experience is gained, the role will switch to more design and engineering. This role will be based out of our Austin, TX office and is subject to our Company’s return-to-office policy which currently requires a minimum of three days a week in the office.
