About The Position
Patriot Broadband Construction is seeking an OSP Technician to support underground fiber infrastructure builds through underground HDD/missile operations. This is an entry-level role that requires travel and involves performing various construction and safety tasks related to fiber optic network deployment.
Requirements
- Must be able and willing to perform outdoor work, including manual digging of holes with shovels, operating equipment and vehicles as needed.
- Valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and ability to travel to worksites including overnight stays 100%
- DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain (company paid physical)
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves

- Construction Laborer experience
Responsibilities
- Perform potholing (hand digging or mechanical vac-excavation), conduit pulls, and horizontal directional drilling/missile setup
- Operate mini- excavator, horizontal directional drill
- Set up cones/signage, complete JHAs, and maintain safe work zones
