About The Position
Great Plains Communications is looking for a skilled OSP Field Engineer to help expand our 20,000-mile fiber network. The role involves overseeing OSP projects from initial site-walks and permitting to final inspections. You will work closely with contractors and local municipalities to ensure our high-performing network stays on track and on budget.
Requirements
- Background in outside plant construction.
- Knack for project management.
- Experience in OSP construction.
- Experience in GIS mapping.
- Experience in drafting.
- Ability to handle on-the-spot construction changes.
- Ability to coordinate emergency restorations.
- Strong skills in budget estimation.
- Strong skills in material coordination.
- Strong skills in permit filing.
- A valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
