As the OSP Construction Supervisor, you will oversee Outside Plant construction and maintenance operations for GTA. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and execute multiple field projects daily while leading teams through varied outdoor environments. Key responsibilities include directing crew activities across construction sites, managing tight project timelines, ensuring safety protocol adherence, performing quality control inspections, and supporting emergency network restoration efforts. Provide construction support for implementing Operational Key Objectives including Broadband projects, Success-Based projects, and Wireless initiatives. Execute implementation of Priority Ped projects, VDSL Projects, Fiber Installation, Manhole projects, and installation of expansion equipment/electronics to the telecommunications network. Support Customer Operations projects as needed. Manage multiple crews and jobsites simultaneously and prioritize overlapping project demands. Meet tight project deadlines with modified schedule requirements to ensure critical milestones are achieved. Serve on-call rotation for emergency network outages, infrastructure damage, and restoration efforts. Lead disaster recovery response operations including storms, typhoons, and major infrastructure damage scenarios. Establish and enforce company and industry best practices across all operations. Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings with team members. Investigate accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions as necessary. Perform quality control measures (QC) throughout project lifecycle. Ensure all as-built drawings and closeout documentation for completed projects are submitted in a timely manner. Document and maintain accurate record keeping for accountability purposes on all staff briefings and/or meetings related to project assignments, performance, regulations, safety compliance. Perform coaching and development of employees to ensure team and individual goals are being met. Advocate for living the company values and meeting GTA's mission and vision statement. Demonstrate a "lead by example" approach to sustaining a healthy work environment culture. Inspect and maintain due care of fleet and equipment assigned to the team. Assist other OSP team Supervisors and Managers in evaluating and analyzing shortfalls, safety concerns, and support equipment needs for assigned projects. Work closely integrating diverse skills of the Implementation Supervisor and Manager. Interact regularly with contractors, vendors, engineers, and customers to ensure project alignment and stakeholder satisfaction. Ability to follow instructions and learn new technologies efficiently. Other related duties as assigned.
