About The Position

SRI Telecom is seeking an OSP Construction Specialist with project coordination experience to support cross-functional project teams. The role involves completing audits and inspections at one or multiple locations, tracking project milestones, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders, and managing project documentation and quality control. Work is autonomous, with the team distributed across field and office locations. The position is approximately 80% field work and 20% office work, and travel may be required. A company vehicle is not supplied.

Requirements

Telecommunications OSP construction experience with both fiber-optic cable and coaxial cable.
Experience with coax, including amplifiers, taps, and main line cable.
Fiber experience.
Willingness to travel as needed; no fleet or company vehicle will be supplied.
Project management skills.
Basic computer skills.
Strong cross-functional team coordination skills.
Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-starter who can work independently after proper training.
Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software.

Nice To Haves

Hybrid fiber-to-coax (HFC) experience is preferred.
Outside Plant experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Complete audits and inspections of nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, fiber taps, and enclosures.
Complete daily computer and Smartsheet work.
Manage and track project milestones and create jobs in JT/Polaris.
Handle exceptions to the life cycle SLA.
Coordinate with teams and stakeholders, serving as a point of contact for cross-functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, permit coordinators, specialists, and sales.
Report regularly to management.
Manage materials and reconciliation, quality control workflows, job estimates, project funding, and QC checklists covering materials, invoices, pictures, and footage.
