About The Position

SRI Telecom is seeking an OSP Construction Coordinator with relevant project coordination experience to join various cross-functional project teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and will coordinate all aspects of OSP projects, from design to permitting to build, with a specific focus on Comcast. This role demands a high level of detail orientation, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, a task-driven mindset, computer proficiency, self-motivation, and the capacity to actively participate in project calls. The position is largely autonomous, with the team spread across multiple locations, both in the field and office. The role is 80% field-based and 20% office-based.

Requirements

  • Experience with BOTH coax and fiber is a must.
  • Coax experience (Amplifiers, Taps, main line cable).
  • Fiber experience.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed (fleet/company vehicle will not be supplied).
  • Project management skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong cross-functional team coordination skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently after proper training.
  • Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software.

Nice To Haves

  • Outside Plant Experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Job creation workflow and milestone management of construction projects.
  • Administrative quality control of jobs.
  • Completing audits in single or multiple locations.
  • Completing audits and inspections on nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, fiber taps, and enclosures.
  • Completing computer and Smartsheet work daily.
  • Managing and tracking milestones.
  • Creating jobs in JT/Polaris.
  • Handling exceptions to the life cycle SLA.
  • Coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
  • Acting as a point of contact for cross-functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, permit coordinators, specialists, and sales.
  • Reporting to management regularly.
  • Managing materials and reconciliation.
  • Managing quality control workflow.
  • Managing job estimates.
  • Managing project funding.
  • Managing QC checklists (materials, invoice, pictures, footages).
