About The Position

Parsons is seeking a talented OSINT Mission IT Specialist to join our growing team! The OSINT Mission IT Specialist provides full-spectrum IT, network, and COMSEC support to mission customers operating across classified and unclassified environments. You will administer enterprise systems, support mission users, manage COMSEC and cryptographic devices, and maintain mobile and AV/VTC capabilities critical to operational success. This role supports users and systems on NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and Gray networks, including Active Directory administration, mobile device management, AV/VTC scheduling and support, and the secure handling of COMSEC material. You will be part of a mission-focused team ensuring high availability, security, and performance of critical IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • 4+ years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in Computer systems and system administration, Network engineering and operations, and Cyber Security operations
  • Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Windows administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, email, desktop support), Network, server, and storage troubleshooting in operational environments, Supporting AV/VTC systems and cable infrastructure (voice, video, data, RF), Mobile device management and troubleshooting (iOS, Android, BlackBerry), and COMSEC material handling and cryptographic equipment support
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline, especially for COMSEC and key management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with mission users and leadership.
  • Associate of Science degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Network Systems Technology, or related field (or equivalent significant relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  • DoDD 8570 / DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification

  • MCSA: Windows Server or MCA Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator

Nice To Haves

  • COMSEC Custodian training and hands-on experience with cryptographic modernization and KMI.
  • Cyber and infrastructure certifications such as Security+ or equivalent, and CompTIA Server+ for server/blade/SAN maintenance.
  • Microsoft and cloud skills, including Microsoft 365 Endpoint/Enterprise administration and foundational Azure or AWS cloud knowledge.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms and virtual machine builds (e.g., VMware), and general understanding of cloud architectures.
  • Python and Linux familiarity (or willingness to train via USASOC pipeline), plus ITIL 4 Foundation or similar service-management exposure.
  • Prior exposure to USASOC and sensitive programs, such as CASO, CSR1, VOTC, SIGREDUX, or 2X/3X work on classified or SAP environments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support enterprise Windows environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, email, and desktop applications.
  • Maintain, install, and troubleshoot servers, blade chassis, SANs, switches, desktops/laptops, KVMs, rack consoles, and related peripherals.
  • Apply operating systems, firmware, patches, and upgrades; monitor systems and storage for performance, and conduct backups and recovery.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute equipment upgrades; install, remove, and relocate servers and infrastructure while maintaining datacenter cabling standards.
  • Terminate, test, and troubleshoot secure/non-secure voice, video, data, and RF cabling; schedule and support VTC sessions, endpoints, and AV equipment for command events.
  • Provision, configure, and provide Tier 2 support for NIPR/SIPR/JWICS/Gray mobile devices (iOS, Android, BlackBerry); troubleshoot carrier services, tethering, hotspots, and number management.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot COMSEC and cryptographic equipment; support receipt, custody, issue, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC material; execute OOBKT/OTAT for remote rekey of encryptors and serve as alternate COMSEC custodian as required.
  • Manage issuance, renewal, replacement, and tracking of Smart Card tokens; process seed stock and certificate revocation requests.
