About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) analyst to support a complex project providing technical and advisory services to the Department of State. The candidate will be on the “ground floor” of helping the client develop OSINT capabilities. In addition to supporting tool selection, the candidate will conduct narrative open-source intelligence, engage numerous propriety data sources, and conduct analysis to identify and track activities of interest. They will support all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key information gaps, through data collection, from performing analyses to delivery actionable intelligence. In this role, you will have an opportunity to interact with the clients’ senior management and brief key stakeholders. You will work as part of a larger cross-functional team, supporting technical/management meetings working alongside the team and client. Day-to-day, you’ll support client deliverables, often concerning various National Security threat actors, to include internal and client deliverables and presentations, day-to-day project logistics, and special projects as the need arises.

Requirements

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree
FOUR (4) years of relevant experience in OSINT and data collection and analysis techniques
Proficient in OSINT tool selection

Deep & Dark Web, encrypted apps (e.g., TOR, Telegram)
Specialized niche skills/knowledge (e.g., foreign propaganda narratives)

Responsibilities

Supporting the assessment and selection of OSINT technology that will assist the Department in identifying and analyzing adversarial narratives across foreign information environments.
Managing tool enablement for clients, including hands-on support and coordination with vendors as needed.
Conducting open-source intelligence and proprietary research across social media, deep/dark web, and other sources.
Performing link analysis and develop network diagrams to illustrate relationships between individuals, organizations, and other entities.
