Responsibilities
- Ensures the daily, efficient management of Operating Room supplies, equipment, instruments, repairs, etc.
- Processes, tracks and receives orders for supplies, equipment, instruments and repairs and maintains accurate files relating to the orders.
- Ensure that all Operating Room supply storage areas are stocked with the appropriate amount and type of supply required daily.
- Assists in the overall management of the O.R. Materials Section.
- Works with O.R. staff and other hospital departments to ensure the overall efficiency of the O.R. supply system.
