About The Position

This full-time Physician Assistant (PA) position in Orthopedics involves a 50/50 split between clinic and surgical settings. The role requires providing patient care, conducting evaluations, performing first assist duties in the operating room (with emphasis on total joint procedures), and managing pre-operative and post-operative care, including hospital rounding. The PA will independently manage clinic sessions when the supervising physician is in the OR and will document patient visits using dictation tools. The patient population consists of orthopedic patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries in a fast-paced environment with same-day add-ons and varied case complexity. The position offers structured onboarding with shadowing and hands-on training, gradual transition to independent patient care, and the opportunity to expand clinic volume and build a patient panel. Optional participation in sports medicine coverage is also available.
