About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join its Department of Orthopedics. The role involves joining an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and 13 Advanced Practice Clinicians. Responsibilities will include clinic, hospital floor, and OR coverage. After an initial training period, the primary work location will be Cooperstown, NY. The practice operates within the Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. New graduates are welcome and will receive a defined ramp-up and training period.

Requirements

• National certification as a Physician Assistant
• New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• DEA required
