About The Position

SMG Orthopedics is seeking a Patient Care Services Manager to support a dynamic and growing facility. This location is home to 17 providers and includes a dedicated athletic training department, with continued growth across services and patient volume. The role is responsible for supervising staff, providing clinical/technical expertise, and engaging in process improvements. The manager will assist in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department, including billing/revenue management, payroll, purchasing, and supply cost management. Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff. Interviews, hires, and develops team members with the goal of creating a highly effective work team and engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility. Licensed professionals are required to keep their license or certifications current in the state of practice.

Requirements

• 3 years of supervisory experience REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare operations experience highly preferred
• Master’s Degree preferred
