Requirements

  • Proficiency in foot and ankle biomechanics.
  • Proficiency in translational research in orthopedic foot and ankle conditions, with a special focus on pain management.
  • Interest in an academic career with an outstanding record in orthopedic research.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Fellowship-trained in an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Foot and Ankle program.
  • Experience in complex reconstruction and circular external fixation.
  • MD degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Research Program.
  • Provide expertise in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
  • Perform complex reconstructions and limb realignment with circular external fixators.
