About The Position

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of imaging techniques, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist! We are looking for a Rad tech to join our team at Riverton Southridge Orthopedic Clinic! This role supports orthopedic imaging while also receiving cross-training across SouthRidge clinic areas including Ortho, Pediatrics, and InstaCare. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technologists or motivated new graduates who are ARRT-certified and eager to grow their skill set across multiple clinic environments. Requirements

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
  • Radiologic technologist license in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years radiology experience
  • IV Certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with departmental protocols
  • Verify patient identification and orders; prepare and position patients appropriately
  • Ensure image quality, accuracy, and adherence to radiation safety standards
  • Provide patient education, comfort, and support throughout exams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow coding, charging, and consent procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment and information systems safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and clinic staff to support efficient patient flow
  • Support quality control processes and report equipment issues as needed
