This role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician. The Nurse Practitioner will function within the full scope of their licensure, being accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. This includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. The position requires delivering holistic and individualized care, developing and managing an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care that incorporates various patient factors, and fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication. Adherence to entity policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations is expected to promote a high-quality patient experience. Continuous professional growth and development in advanced nursing practice are also key. The role follows ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, and policies regulated by the State of California Nurse Practice Act.
