About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Orthopedic Upper Extremity & Mobility Advancement Nurse Practitioner to join one of our valued client partners. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering exceptional orthopedic care while partnering with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary clinical teams. The selected provider will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with upper extremity and musculoskeletal conditions while promoting positive clinical outcomes through evidence-based care, patient education, and collaborative treatment planning. This is a weekday-only opportunity offering an outstanding work-life balance without routine nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license in good standing or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • National Nurse Practitioner certification.
  • Previous orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, or surgical practice experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive experience managing upper extremity orthopedic conditions.
  • Previous experience working alongside orthopedic surgeons within a high-volume specialty practice.
  • Experience performing orthopedic injections, splinting, casting, fracture management, or related procedures within scope.
  • Strong patient education and rehabilitation planning experience.
  • Demonstrated success improving patient outcomes while maintaining exceptional patient satisfaction.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating increasing clinical responsibility and long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations for patients presenting with upper extremity and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic studies including imaging and laboratory results.
  • Perform office-based orthopedic procedures within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation, medications, and injury prevention.
  • Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient management while ensuring continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, therapy services, and specialty care as appropriate.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes and operational excellence.
  • Foster outstanding patient satisfaction through compassionate, evidence-based clinical care.
