About The Position

Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collegial department of 20 other providers (orthopedists and podiatrists). This role is at a Level II Trauma Center with helicopter service. The department includes additional services such as general surgery trauma coverage, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, interventional radiology/angiography, plastic surgery, and a hospitalist service. The surgeon will have dedicated orthopedic trauma OR time and will work in a 1:1 model with an advanced practice provider. The office is attached to the only hospital covered, and the health system utilizes a common EHR and PACS across the system and with Mayo Clinic Rochester. The Orthopedic Department has received repeated recognition from U.S. News & World Report as a top performer in Wisconsin, and the facility was recognized as a "Best Regional Hospital" in Northwest Wisconsin for 2024-2025.

Requirements

• Board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon.
• Fellowship training in orthopedic trauma required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic trauma surgery services.
