About The Position

Perform patient care and orthopedic procedures in assigned area. Assist with treatments requiring plaster casts and/or surgical procedures involving fractures as ordered by a physician. Set up and apply medical devices related to orthopedics. Report abnormal assessment findings or changes in orthopedic conditions to staff. Maintain current knowledge of orthopedic policies/procedures through training, testing, and skills labs.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
