Orthopedic Technician
About The Position
Our patients are our number one priority! We're committed to giving children back their childhood! This role is located in Dallas and operates Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood. Scottish Rite is a unique place to work because we believe in a collaborative approach, utilizing the care and expertise from all departments. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Orthopedic Technologist certification is required; relevant previous experience may be accepted
- Orthopedic casting experience and fracture care experience
- BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Conduct casting placement and removal
- Assist Orthopedic Surgeons as needed in inpatient and outpatient care settings
- Enter information regarding patient orders and charges into the computer system
- Maintain all needed supplies for casting
- Performs other duties as needed
