About The Position
Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens position in Orthopedic Surgery. This role will provide supplemental coverage in an outpatient setting across multiple locations in Georgia, including Tucker, Sandy Springs, and Duluth. The coverage period is from May 28 to August 28, 2026, with a Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM shift schedule. The NP/PA will manage a patient volume of approximately 21 per day, focusing on cases involving Hand, Joints, and Sports medicine. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Active GA License
- BC/BE
- Experience as an NP or PA in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system.
- Must be a local candidate.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical coverage in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Manage patient cases related to Hand, Joints, and Sports medicine.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient documentation.
- Work within an outpatient service setting.
