About The Position

Concentra is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to join their team as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract position is designed to complement the surgeon's existing private practice, involving approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis at a Concentra location. The role focuses on assisting in the management of medically complex patients, with the goal of expediting their return to work and functional restoration. The surgeon will collaborate with medical and therapy providers to deliver specialist services, including both non-surgical and surgical treatments, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. Additionally, the position requires communication with employers and active participation in case management, aiming to significantly impact the lives of patients seeking care.

Requirements

• Licensure requirements of the state of practice
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

Responsibilities
