Orthopedic Surgeon Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to work as a 1099 independent contractor on-site at their location. This contract position is designed to complement the surgeon's existing private practice. The role involves treating medically complex patients with orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries during approximately 4-hour shifts, either weekly or biweekly. The specialist will provide both non-surgical and surgical services, working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers. Additionally, the surgeon will communicate with employers and actively participate in case management to expedite patients' return to work and functional restoration.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
